Oedipus and the Styx.

Sleep my pretty child, my love,
Tomorrow is going to be;
Demand for his Boatman,
and stir the waters of your brother Dream.

Sleep my lonely child, my precious,
Midnight is fast approaching;
Call for the Shoremen to sway you,
To take you to the sights of the stream.

Sleep my sweet child, my darling,
The eve is setting at last;
Pray for the Lightmen to guide you,
To stall you and cradle the stars.

Sleep my crazy child, my sweetheart,
Noon is not too far away;
Wait for the courtesans to feed you,
And get me something to slay.

Sleep my only child, my lover,
Dawn is just a jump away;
Leap, scream and wait for me,
Yet, do not freeze when you embrace me.
